<p>Jed est un éditeur de texte petit, rapide et puissant, mais démarrant plus rapidement que Bash. Il
est totalement personnalisable, avec des modes d’émulation fournis pour Emacs, CUA (similaire à KDE/GNOME/OpenOffice),
l’EDI de Borland, Brief et EDT. Il est extensible à l'aide du langage de script S-Lang, dont la

<p>Jed ist ein kleiner, schneller und mächtiger Texteditor, der trotzdem schneller als die Bash startet.
Er kann mithilfe der Skriptsprache S‐Lang (deren Syntax an C erinnert) an die eigenen Bedürfnisse angepasst
werden. Er wird mit fertigen Emulationen der Editoren Emacs, CUA (ähnlich KDE/Gnome/OpenOffice), Borland-IDE,
Brief und EDT verteilt. Bearbeitungsfunktionen: Unterstützung von Code-Faltung, Ausschneiden und Einfügen
