<p>Le programme originel nec2c est une application, non interactive et en ligne de commande, qui lit
en entrée les fichiers NEC2 standards et produit un fichier en utilisant les données demandées dans le
fichier d’entrée par les « commandes ». Par contre, xnec2c est une application graphique interactive
qui, dans sa forme actuelle, lit les fichiers NEC2 d’entrée mais présente les données de sortie sous
forme graphique – par exemple, sous forme de structures filaires (rendu en fil de fer) – de prototypes
de rayonnement ou des champs locaux électriques et magnétiques, de graphes du gain maximal, de l’impédance
d’entrée, des ROS, TOS et autres en fonction de la fréquence, ou d’un simple rendu de la structure de
l’antenne en incluant la représentation en différentes couleurs des courants et densités de charge. Ces
calculs sont faits et représentés uniquement à la demande à l’aide de menus (xnec2c est interactif et
n’exécute pas les « commandes » par lots comme l’original le fait).</p>

przeciwieństwie do niego xnec2c jest interaktywnym programem z graficznym interfejsem użytkownika, który
(w obecnej formie) odczytuje pliki wejściowe NEC2, ale prezentuje dane wyjściowe w formie graficznej,
np. jako rysunki szkieletowe charakterystyki promieniowania lub bliskiego pola E/H, wykresy maksymalnego
wzmocnienia, impedancji wejściowej, współczynnika VSWR itp. w funkcji częstotliwości oraz proste renderowanie
struktury anteny, łącznie z reprezentacją prądów lub gęstości ładunków za pomocą kodu kolorystycznego.
Wyniki te są obliczane i rysowane tylko na żądanie użytkownika za pośrednictwem odpowiednich pozycji
menu lub przycisków, np. xnec2c jest interaktywny i nie wykonuje "poleceń" NEC2 w trybie wsadowym,
jak to robi oryginał czyli nec2c.</p>

xnec2x, invece, è un'applicazione interattiva con GUI che (nella forma attuale) legge file di input
NEC2 ma presenta i dati di output in forma grafica, ad esempio come disegni wireframe del modello di
